Grilled cheese with tomato bisque is my new favorite! Thick bread, perfect combo of cheeses, and the smoothest tomato bisque. Simple dish done right. I will be back for more!
Scotch Eggs review by Sikholden
Walking in you feel the great sports bar energy with the touch of Ireland. Going to an Irish food restaurant, Scotch Eggs are a must try. This one...did not disappoint! Presentation was great with the Scotch Egg cut in half to show the expert cook on the yolk. The yolk was exceptionally kept between runny and gummy. The crispy breading on the outside created the perfect texture. A thin layer of sausage enveloped the egg white with a great light sausage flavor. The egg was soft boiled to perfection. To top off the already incredible bite, the bourbon gravy just added that over the top flavor fusion. This folks, is as good of a Scotch Egg you can get. Having been to Dublin, I can honestly say the best Scotch Egg I've ever had is right in downtown Mystic, CT. At Friar Tucks Tavern.

This dish was exceptional. The taste was amazing and not many places make it with the traditional lamb. The cheese on top was a perfect topper. Will make sure to get this dish again when I come to Mystic.

Quite simply put, this is one of the best burgers I have ever had, and I eat a lot of burgers. The plate that came to the table looked exactly like the picture in the online menu on their website. I am looking forward to my return and having this exact burger again.

Well we'll happy new year your pretzel with mustard and cheese are always great problem is you never pick regional people who come back year after year solid customers who spend and spend over the years. Remember you have loyalty and you should appreciate their patronage it's real.take note remember it is so valuable have a great 2026 !!!!!!!
Grilled Bourban Beef Tips review by Teresa
I love the atmosphere of Friar Tucks. Its always a party but also a great place to enjoy friends and family. I love the ploughmans platter and cheese curds as starters. My go to meal is the grilled bourbon beef tips. But to be honest i have never had something i do not enjoy. 10/10 would recommend and have ! Great job Amy, Gary and staff

I had a fish and chips and the fish was so big. I split it with my sister and we still couldn't finish it. The cheese curds were amazing lightly breaded and perfectly fried.
