These were amazing. The Beer cheese had just the right amount of zing. 5 out of 5. I highly recommend.

Grilled Cheese

We found Friar Tucks on a day trip to Mystic one summer a few years ago at their old location. My kids 7,8,10 really enjoyed the place but what really sold us was that they all agreed that they served THE BEST grilled cheese any of them had ever had. This may seem like no big thing but our middle daughter is absolutely THE PICKIEST eater you will ever meet. This experience has made Friar Tucks a destination every time we are in the area and we actually will make the 1-1/2 hour drive down there just to have lunch. The pretzels and the dragon wings are also family favorites. Service is always top notch even when the place is packed.

This was such a unique dish. Great to have when sitting down for some of the many beers they have to offer!

Scotch Eggs

These were PHENOMENAL. I've had Scotch eggs in England, in Scotland, and at probably ten Highland Games around the country. I've made them myself, and two of my pipe majors have been known to make them for parties and Highland Games. These are probably equal to the best I've ever tasted.
